As a 44 year old fan that has been going to Dover Downs since the early 80′s, I have to say your changes are too little to late. Over the last 5 years or more the races have been so BORING (not all your fault some of it is NASCAR itself) that I no longer have any interest in going in person. Seat widening is a great idea, so is $10 tickets for kids (unfortuneatley my son, who has been going to races since he was 7, is now 17 so again a longtime fan gets NO benefit). This past race weekend I didn’t bother to try to attend the saturday race. Too predictable, within the first 10 laps at least 10 cars will bypass pit road and quietly enter the garage through the back entrance, a Cup driver will lead the most laps and will win the race. I bet that will happen this Spring too. There is no action at the “action track.” The only passing happens at a restart not during a green flag run. The cautions come out at the first sign of smoke, I guess to prevent a problem. The cars all look the same. The vendors all have the same products (just change the colors and numbers), that have become mass produced and very cheaply made. My family has bought very little over the last 5 years. Even the midway has the same TIRED old giveaways, that we have seen too many times. You want fans to get excited about your track changes, maybe you should look at the products and shows your offering, start there and maybe we will come back. Right now, I won’t return anytime soon. The first 20 years were good, but the last 10 or so have been all downhill. Thank you. Gary Suit

The seat widing is a great idea but I hope you don’t do what they did in Charlotte by moving the middle of the row fans to other rows of seats everyone should just slide over. I’ve been coming to the speedway and have not missed a race since 1984 but if I get moved down and can’t see the whole track I will most likley not renew the tickets. This is from a Charlotte season ticket holder
since 1986 who no longer is one because of this reason.

if you are going to make them wider it would be nice to have cup holders on the backs of the seats for the person behind you to use the philly eagles new stadume has this its pretty cool

YES WE WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT ON SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME WE CAME TO THE RACE THIS PAST SEASON.ME MY WIFE AND 2 OF OUR CLOSEST FRIENDS COME TO DOVER EVERY YEAR WE GO TO FRIDAYS RACE AND SATURDAY WE USUALLY PURCHASE TURN 4 CLUB.AND OUR FRIENDS GET PIT PASSES FOR ALL OF US ON SUNDAY.NOW IN THE COURSE OF A WEEKEND WE SPEND QUITE A LOT OF MONEY AT THE TRACK!BUT THIS LAST TIME ON SUNDAY WE HAD QUITE A HARD TIME
SEEING THE RACE DUE TO THE SIGNS LEFT UP ON THE FENCING IN FRONT OF US!NOW IF THIS IS THE WAY THE FANS(OURSELVES INCLUDED)ARE GOING TO BE TREATED THAN WE ARE TRULY THINKING OF NOT EVEN BOTHERING TO COME ANY LONGER!IF YOU CANT SEE THE RACE THAN WHY BOTHER TO COME AND SPEND ALL THAT MONEY IF YOU CANT EVEN SEE THE TRACK??I REALLY RECOMMEND THEY TAKE THOSE ADVERTISING SIGNS DOWN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RACE SO PEOPLE WITH PIT PASSES CAN ALSO SEE THE RACE! LIKE THEY USED IN PAST YEARS.THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND HAVE A VERY NICE DAY!……………………..
