With only five weeks left until our June 1-3, 2012 race weekend at Dover International Speedway, we're working at a frantic pace to make sure everything is perfect when you great race fans arrive!

Dover, Pocono to square off
in celebrity softball game with Carl Edwards, Jeff Burton
To promote the June 1-3,
2012 race weekend at the Monster Mile and the June 8-10, 2012 races at The
Tricky Triangle, Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway are teaming up
to play each other in a celebrity softball game on May 15 at Campbell's Field
in Camden, N.J., home of the Camden Riversharks. Team Dover will be led by Carl
Edwards while Jeff Burton will captain Team Pocono. To learn more about the

Dover, Autism Speaks create
first-ever autism friendly NASCAR event
In an effort to make coming
to a NASCAR race more accessible to families who have children with autism,
Dover International Speedway and Autism Speaks have created a new ticket
package for the June 3 "FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks" NASCAR Sprint Cup
Series race, the Autism Speaks Day at the Races. The first-ever, autism

Have "Breakfast with the
Bagman!"
Fans can join Mike Bagley,
turn announcer for Motor Racing Network (MRN) and host of The Morning Drive on
SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, for breakfast the morning of the June 3 "FedEx 400
benefiting Autism Speaks" NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Bagley will do a
Q&A, as well as give fans the chance to win future NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
tickets at the Monster Mile. A few other NASCAR personalities might also drop

Meet the stars of tomorrow
with a FREE NASCAR Camping World Truck Series autograph session!
Before the first racing
action of the weekend kicks off with the June 1 "Lucas Oil 200" NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series race, fans will have the chance to meet a few of the drivers
that will be trading paint on the track later that day with a FREE NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series autograph session from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the

Bid on your chance to wave the green flag for the June 3 race!

 that in the not-too-distant
past, pit road at the Monster Mile was a bit cramped? In 2009 the third phase
of the Monster Makeover construction project lengthened and widened pit road,
making way for a 43rd stall and giving each driver and crew the room they
needed. In addition, a brand new 1,592 foot concrete pit wall, equipped with
SAFER barrier technology, was built. |
