Hello race fans and welcome to the February installment of the "Monster Mile
Insider!"
It's that time of year... the Daytona 500 is days away and
with that so is the start of the 2012 season. With the way the 2011 season
wrapped up in Homestead last November, we know you are just as
excited as we are to kick things off this weekend.
Right
on the heels of the "Great American Race" is our first race weekend here at the
Monster Mile in 2012, on June 1-3. In the coming months we'll be making a lot
of announcements leading up to that race weekend, so make sure to keep up with

during the Daytona 500!
When the
green flag drops at 1 p.m. on Fox in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, make sure
you're watching the race while following us on Facebook and Twitter throughout

Young fan
shares special connection with Monster Mile
In Centennial, Colo., more than halfway across
the country from Dover International Speedway, a four-year-old race fan has
something very specific in common with the First State's NASCAR track - his
name. Dover Winston Durham was named by his racing-enthused parents after the
Monster Mile, similar to his older brother, five-year-old Bristol Phoenix. To
