May 4-6 Weekend Parking Notes

Dover International Speedway’s Park-and-Ride Express at the Blue Hen Mall will not run during the track’s two 2018 NASCAR tripleheader weekends due to lot availability.

Fans are advised that some promotional printed materials provided by the track will still include Park-and-Ride Express as an option, despite its unavailability. Road signs will be posted along nearby highways and routes to inform customers that Park-and-Ride is no longer available.

Fans who regularly used the Park-and-Ride Express option at the Blue Hen Mall are encouraged to park at the Speedway’s Lot 1 on Jefferic Boulevard just off northbound U.S. 13 in Dover. Click here for specific directions.

The Lot 1 parking fee on Sunday, May 6 for the “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” is $10 per car, a $10 savings from the fee for the Park-and-Ride Express option at the Blue Hen Mall, as well as other off-site locations.

Customers that have already purchased the Park-and-Ride option with their tickets have been contacted by our ticket office staff on this change.

Fans coming from the north are advised that the Park-and-Ride shuttle service from the Christiana Mall in Newark, Del., is still operational.

The Christiana shuttle, which can be boarded in the mall’s North parking lot, costs $17 per person (CASH ONLY), which includes parking and round-trip bus service to the track. There are only 800 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis and all carry-on items must be stored under your seat.

The service begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 6 and will return passengers to the Christiana Mall immediately after the race.

For more information on this service, call Advance Student Transportation at (302) 998-6726.
