Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick to appear in Monster Mile Club before June 3 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race

DOVER, Del. – Brad Keselowski, Twitter sensation and driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, along with fellow driver Kevin Harvick, will make appearances in the Monster Mile Club the morning of the Sunday, June 3, 2012 “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Fans in the Monster Mile Club will get the chance to see Keselowski and Harvick, participate in question-and-answer sessions and learn more about two of NASCAR’s most popular drivers.

Driver Brad Keselowski's lone win at the Monster Mile came in the spring 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series race.

The Monster Mile Club is a great bargain for Sunday race ticket holders at Dover International Speedway. The ticket add-on is a hospitality option the morning of the “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race that includes the Keselowski appearance, trackside access on the frontstretch of the Monster Mile, unlimited food and beverages (Pepsi and Anheuser Busch products), a race program and a souvenir gift. The add-on costs just $99.

Keselowski has one win in his career at the Monster Mile, taking the checkered flag in the spring 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. His late surge at the end of 2011 helped propel him into the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup as one of the two wildcard drivers, where he contended throughout before finishing fifth.

In addition to his stellar performance on the track, the Penske Racing driver has earned much recognition for his commitment to social media, most notably his photo posts to Twitter of the jet dryer wreck in this year’s Daytona 500 during the red flag. His outspoken nature makes him one of NASCAR’s top personalities, so the Q&A in the Monster Mile Club is sure to be entertaining.

Harvick, driver of the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet, announced prior to this season that he and his wife, DeLana, are expecting their first child. That, along with his stellar start to the season, will leave him with plenty to discuss during his Q&A.

The Monster Mile Club opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 3, with a continental breakfast. Trackside Access begins at 8:30 a.m. with the hosted question-and-answer session with Keselowski following later in the morning. An all-you-can-eat lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until the start of the “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at 1 p.m.

NASCAR returns to the Monster Mile on June 1-3, 2012 with the June 3 “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the June 2 “5-hour ENERGY 200” NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the June 1 “Lucas Oil 200” NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
