Military members, veterans welcome at CDW employment event on Oct. 1

CDW, a leading provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare, is partnering with Dover International Speedway to create “Hiring Our Heroes,” an exclusive employment program for active-duty military members and veterans on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. The event coincides with the “Apache Warrior 400 presented by Lucas Oil” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at the Monster Mile.

Attendees will be treated to an educational showcase from 9-11:30 a.m., including a presentation on “Vets in the Work Force,” social media tips, CDW employment information, resume reviews and more. The open house event is designed for job-seekers to learn more about how to promote themselves in today’s environment.

All attendees receive a frontstretch ticket to the “Apache Warrior 400 presented by Lucas Oil” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race on Sunday, Oct. 1 (NBCSN, 2 p.m.), which is the first elimination race of the 10-race postseason.

In addition, all attendees receive a free Trackside Access pass, which gives them the chance to explore Dover International Speedway’s frontstretch before the big race.

Visit http://starcite.smarteventscloud.com/dover to RSVP and register for the event. Attendees are welcome to bring up to three immediate family members to the event by RSVPing for them. Attendees are encouraged to call 800-441-RACE with any questions.
