Denny Hamlin to run fan-personalized Autism Speaks paint scheme on June 1

Drivers across all three series will display Autism Speaks puzzle piece decals Throughout the May 30-June 1, 2014 race weekend

Denny Hamlin, driver of the No. 11 FedEx Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will run a special, Autism Speaks puzzle piece paint scheme on his car throughout the May 30-June 1, 2014 NASCAR race weekend at Dover International Speedway.

FedEx F AS 2014 Toyota Driver side Detail 1bThis marks the fourth straight year Hamlin will sport a unique paint scheme at the spring Dover event, headlined by the June 1 “FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. This year’s design allowed fans to make donations to Autism Speaks and in return have their first name and last initial displayed on a puzzle piece in the car’s design.

The campaign was a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fans to help in raising funds for the autism community while having something personal take part in the racing action at the Monster Mile. Fans donated $11 and more to have their names featured on the No. 11 FedEx Toyota throughout the Dover race weekend.

And while Denny Hamlin and his ride may be on track all weekend, an exact replica of the No. 11 Toyota Camry will be on display Sunday morning prior to the race in front of the Monster Monument in Victory Plaza, giving fans the chance to get an up-close view of the specialized scheme and, if they donated, their name displayed on one of the puzzle pieces.

In addition to Hamlin’s specialized car design, drivers across all three series — NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series — will show their support for Autism Speaks throughout the weekend by displaying a puzzle piece decal on their cars.

In total, 28 drivers from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, 19 drivers from the NASCAR Nationwide Series and 20 drivers from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series are participating. They include:
