Offering includes NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ticket, and either a FanVision or Racing Electronics scanner rental
Dover International Speedway is introducing a new grandstand seating option to fans in 2014, as three General Admission seating sections have been added for the Sept. 28, 2014 “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. In addition to a race ticket, the offering also includes either a FanVision or Racing Electronics Scanner rental for the race.
This new ticket package costs only $50 for adults and $35 for juniors ages 14 and younger. Seats are located in sections 146, 147 and 148, which are in the exit of Turn 3 and just before the entrance to Turn 4.
“Fans in the General Admission area will be able to enhance their grandstand experience even more through the exclusive content provided by the FanVision or Racing Electronics scanner,” said Mike Tatoian, executive vice president and COO of Dover Motorsports, Inc. “The General Admission section is another great value in our many ticket offerings, making attending races at the Monster Mile as affordable as possible for our great fans.”
FanVision gives fans exclusive wireless access to live broadcast video feeds; eight onboard cameras; official timing, data, statistics and analysis; the ability to follow up to three specific drivers; instant replays; and a digital scanner, all on a 4.3-inch screen that gives fans an unrivaled event experience. The Racing Electronics scanner gives access to radio communications between drivers and their crew chiefs, making fans feel like they’re right in the cockpit of the car or atop the pit box throughout the race.
General Admission ticket holders must provide a credit card while picking up their FanVision or Racing Electronics Scanner. The card will not be charged, but will be put on record in the event that the device is not returned after the race.
