Dover International Speedway introduces Reward Our Troops Program

New program provides tickets to members of the military, Veterans and families of fallen heroes

Dover International Speedway has announced its all-new Reward Our Troops Program, a ticket donation program that provides individual ticket purchasers or businesses the opportunity to make a contribution toward sending an active member of the military, a veteran or family members of our fallen heroes to a Sunday NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Monster Mile.

Military PhotoPartnering with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, the Speedway will offer each person who purchases tickets to a Sunday race at the Monster Mile the chance to make a monetary donation of their choosing that will go toward a ticket in the Reward Our Troops Program. The Veteran Tickets Foundation will then distribute tickets through, free of charge, to the brave men and women that make up our military, and their families.

“We’re proud to work with race fans to give back to our active military, veterans and the families of those that made the ultimate sacrifice,” said Mike Tatoian, executive vice president and COO of Dover Motorsports, Inc. “Giving these servicemen and women, along with their families, a fun day at the track is just one small way we can show our appreciation for all they’ve done for us.”

In addition to individual ticket buyers, businesses will also have the opportunity to participate in three tiers — donating 10 tickets for $400, 25 tickets for $1,000 or 65 tickets for $2,600.

Anyone that makes a donation will be eligible for a tax write-off, and will receive thank you notes from the military and photos from the event. In addition, individuals and companies that donate will be recognized on and

About the Veteran Tickets Foundation

Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation supporting our military community. Vet Tix provides free event tickets to currently serving military, veterans and family members of those killed in action to sporting events, concerts, performing arts and family activities. Our military and veterans experience many difficult transitions as they reintegrate into their families, communities, and eventually, into civilian life. Attending events improves morale, strengthens family bonds through shared interests and encourages service members to stay engaged with local communities and American life. In gratitude for their service and to support their reintegration, Vet Tix is dedicated to giving back to those who gave us so much.
