Collin Cabre earns NASCAR K&N Pro Series East pole

Collin Cabre earned the pole for the “National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 125 presented by Carl Deputy And Son Builders” NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race.

Cabre’s fast lap of 155.132 mph was just off the track record

Cabre won this race in 2015 and has two poles in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this season.

Ruben Garcia Jr. was second with a lap of 154.792 mph.

Harrison Burton enters Friday’s 5 p.m. race, the season finale for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, eight points behind series leader Todd Gilliland.

Burton qualified third with a lap of 154.453 mph, followed by Gilliland in fourth (154.169 mph).

Earlier Friday, Burton registered a lap of 153.741 mph to take the top spot in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East practice session. Sheldon Creed, with a lap of 153.400 mph, was second in practice.

Gilliland’s quickest lap was 152.465 mph, good for fifth quickest of the 15 drivers who registered a time.

The green flag for the “National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 125 presented by Carl Deputy And Son Builders” NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race is scheduled for 5 p.m.
