Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson lead “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” practice sessions

“AAA 400 Drive for Autism” pole winner Kyle Busch continued his speedy success on Saturday at Dover International Speedway.

Kyle Busch registered the quickest speed during Saturday’s first practice session for the “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway. GETTY IMAGES

Busch registered the quickest time in the first practice session at the Monster Mile, completing a lap over the one-mile concrete oval in 158.040 mph. Busch, driving the No. 18 Toyota, earned his first career pole at Dover on Friday with a lap of 158.954 mph.

Ryan Blaney (No. 21 Ford) was second quickest with a speed of 157.929 mph, followed by three-time Dover winner Martin Truex Jr. (157.874 mph), 10-time Dover champion Jimmie Johnson (157.756 mph) and Kurt Busch (157.708 mph).

Kyle Larson turned a lap of 157.411 mph to lead the field in Saturday’s second practice session, followed by Johnson (157.301 mph), Kyle Busch (157.246 mph), Truex (157.143 mph) and Matt Kenseth (157.143 mph).

The “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series takes the green flag Sunday at 1 p.m.
