Gragson leads NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice

Rookie Noah Gragson turned the fastest laps during Thursday’s practice sessions for the “Bar Harbor 200” presented by Sea Watch International NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Dover International Speedway.

The 18-year-old from Las Vegas, driving the No. 18 Toyota for Kyle Busch Motorsports, turned a lap of 156.209 mph on the one-mile, high-banked concrete oval in Thursday’s first practice session.

Ben Rhodes (No. 27 Toyota) was second quickest at 155.891 mph, followed by rookie Austin Cindric at 154.123 mph.

Gragson also led Thursday’s second practice session with the day’s fastest lap of 156.979 mph, followed by Christopher Bell (No. 4, Toyota) with a lap of 156.020 mph and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points leader Johnny Sauter at 155.682 mph.

In the second practice session, Jordan Anderson spun on the frontstretch, bringing out a caution flag. Anderson was not injured in the crash.

Qualifying for the “Bar Harbor 200” presented by Sea Watch International NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race is scheduled for Friday at 2:35 p.m. The race is scheduled to take the green flag at 5;30 p.m. on Friday and will be broadcast live by Fox Sports 1.
