Race fans seeking out a more affordable alternative to hotels for their race weekend accommodations will again have the opportunity to take advantage of Dover International Speedway’s Turnkey Tent Camping and standard Tent Camping options in 2014.
Turnkey Tent Camping is an all-inclusive option that expands upon the average camping experience and includes a luxury tent; two comfortable cots with blankets and pillows; two shower passes per day; and a parking spot right at your campsite.
It costs $289 for the duration of your stay, and also includes a Trackside Access pass for each NASCAR Sprint Cup Series ticket on a customer’s account, giving you the chance to roam the frontstretch of the track on Sunday morning before the green flag waves.
The other option, standard Tent Camping, is a more traditional take on the experience, where for just $100 fans can bring their own tent and setup for race weekend. It also includes a parking spot on-site, along with nearby restroom access. Showers are available for a nominal fee.
New in 2014, ticket requirements for Turnkey Tent Camping and Tent Camping have been eliminated, as you no longer need any Dover tickets on your account to book a space.
Located in Lot 9, Turnkey Tent Camping and Tent Camping areas are in close proximity to the track’s FanZone and Monster Monument in Victory Plaza. Staying in one of the track’s camping spaces gives fans the chance to experience all the Monster Mile has to offer throughout the weekend, as all the entertainment and action is just a stone’s throw from your camping space.
