Dover Weather Updates

This page offers the latest information on the May 4-6 NASCAR tripleheader weekend schedule at Dover International Speedway. The weekend includes the “AAA 400 Drive for Autism” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, May 6, the “OneMain Financial 200” NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, May 5 and the “JEGS 200” NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, May 4.

Unless noted below, all regularly scheduled activities will occur at their designated time.

UPDATE: May 4, 2:27 p.m.

The Elliott Sadler autograph session at the OneMain Financial Display in the FanZone, schedule for Saturday at 9:15 a.m., has been cancelled

.UPDATE: MAY 4, 12:06 p.m.

The Matt Tifft appearance scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on the AAA Stage at Victory Plaza has been cancelled.

UPDATE: MAY 4, 10:58 a.m.


The Jeff Gordon marquee plaque dedication at the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza, presented by Smithfield, will be bumped up one hour, to 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.

All on-track activities on Saturday, May 5 have moved up one hour. These are the updated times:

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Practice, 8:30 a.m.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Qualifying, 9:35 a.m.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Final Practice, 11 a.m.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Driver Introductions, Noon

“OneMain Financial 200” NASCAR Xfinity Series race, 12:30 p.m.

Grandstand gates still open at 9 a.m.

UPDATE: MAY 4, 9:32 a.m.

Dover International Speedway Updates

Saturday’s “OneMain Financial 200” NASCAR Xfinity Series race start time has been pushed up one hour to 12:30 p.m. NASCAR will release a full updated on-track schedule for Saturday shortly. The current forecast shows dry conditions until late Saturday afternoon, but NASCAR and track officials, in an effort to get the full race in, have made the decision to begin the race one hour earlier.
