With a 22.864-second (157.453 mph) lap time, Larson was 0.078 of a second faster than last week’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race winner at Charlotte, Ryan Blaney, and will start on the pole for Saturday’s “OneMain Financial 200”, which is also the fourth and final Dash 4 Cash race of 2017.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regulars Daniel Suarez and Erik Jones will start third and fourth, respectively. Jones, who will look to defend his spring race win at Dover, clocked a 22.975-second lap time.

Brennan Poole qualified fifth and is the first NASCAR XFINITY Series driver in the starting grid to be eligible for points.

Elliott Sadler, who enters Saturday’s race atop the points standings, was the fastest car in the first round, but couldn’t translate that speed in the next two rounds as he will start ninth.

Led by Larson, the field for the “OneMain Financial 200” will take the green flag at 1 p.m.
