RV Parking
If you’re coming to a race at Dover International Speedway, there is no better way to spend the weekend with us than to set up in one of our RV lots for a few days. With more than 3,000 RV spaces spread out across our 840 acres of land at the Monster Mile, there’s plenty of space for you to park and make Dover your home for a few days, all while enjoying the company of the tens of thousands of race fans that are visiting and the many amenities we provide you. The following will give you all the information you need for RV parking at Dover International Speedway. Just click and learn! And call 800-441-RACE with any questions you may have.
The reserved RV spaces at the Monster Mile are the only places where customers can guarantee the exact spot they will be parking in for race weekend. The spaces provide the convenience of having your own, guaranteed spot, as well as placing you in close proximity to the track.
Reserved RV spaces in Lot 2, 7, 8 and 9 must be purchased over the phone with the Dover ticket office at 800-441-RACE. Reserved spaces are not available online.
To park in one of the reserved lots, two (2) Friday OR Saturday, and two (2) Sunday race tickets are required. Deadline for pre-paying for a spot is Friday, May 11 for the June 1-3, 2012 race weekend and Friday, Sept. 7 for the Sept. 28-30, 2012 race weekend.

The unreserved RV spaces at Dover International Speedway are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those arriving. The spaces also give fans the chance to save money if they purchase their spot early, as any space booked by Friday, May 11 for the June 1-3, 2012 race weekend, or Friday, Sept. 7 for the Sept. 28-30, 2012 race weekend will pay only $50, as opposed to the $70 cost after the deadline.

When you decide to stay with us in one of our many RV lots on a race weekend, we want to make sure you have everything you need, right here on site. That’s why at the Monster Mile, we provide you with a number of wonderful services, many for free and some with a nominal fee attached.

GIANT SPEEDWAY SUPERMARKET
This pop-up, full-service supermarket is onsite near the entrance to RV Lot 10 for the convenience of our fans. During race week, it is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Water
A free service, fans can pick up water to the left of the main entrance of the track off of Route 13 and in the front section of RV Lot 10.
Shuttle Service
If you’re trying to figure out which RV lot is best for you on race weekend, but you’re discouraged by some of the ones that have a slightly longer walking distance to the track, don’t be! A courtesy shuttle is available from RV Lot 10 for patrons parked in Lots 8, 9 and 10. The shuttle runs from noon until 8 p.m. on Fridays, and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Trash Pick-Up
We know you don’t want to deal with excess trash in your RV spot while staying here, so let us handle it for you. Trash pick-up is a free service, and executed daily from 1 to 4 p.m. Patrons are asked to use trash barrels or dumpsters for disposal of trash. RV parking attendants have trash liners available for your convenience.
Porta-Jons
When nature calls, don’t worry! There are porta-jons provided in each RV lot for your convenience.
Security
To give you peace of mind during your stay with us, we provide security to patrol the RV lots. You can reach security by calling 302-883-6753. Security’s hours of operation begin at 7 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to race weekend and end one after the conclusion of Sunday’s race.
Pumping
For a nominal fee, RV customers can schedule to have Pierson’s Comfort Group pump their RV. To schedule a time, call 410-829-1018 or 410-829-5597.
Showers
If you’re looking for a chance to rinse off and clean up a little while you’re here, you can take advantage of the showers located in RV Lot 10, available for a small fee.
Water Delivery
Are you lacking water at your RV space? Don’t worry, for a small fee you can contact Delaware Landscaping at 302-270-1705 for water delivery.
Porta-Jon Rental
If you’re looking to get your own, personal porta-jon on race weekend, you’re welcome to rent one for a nominal fee by calling Pierson’s Comfort Group at 800-461-0032 or 410-829-5597.
Located at the entrance to RV Lot 10, the Giant Food pop-up store features more than 2,500 items for race fans shopping convenience. The 5,000 square-foot tent includes items that can be found in any major supermarket: perishables including meat, deli, produce, seafood, bakery items, beverages, prepared foods, health and beauty care items, and so much more. Race fans won’t have to pack their RV before they leave for the track anymore because they can pick up everything on the shopping list upon arrival at the track.
When you visit us on race weekend, our main goal is to make sure you enjoy your stay in our RV lots as well as have a blast on the property. To ensure that happens, though, we need everyone to follow a few simple rules and guidelines.Please familiarize yourself with the list below to enhance your race weekend experience, and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 800-441-RACE.
- All RVs must be self-contained and must feature on-board sanitation facilities. “Self-contained” is defined as having on board potable water storage, a cooking stove, a water or chemical toilet permanently attached to the black water holding tank, and permanently installed holding tank for gray or black water.
- Every RV patron/owner must complete and sign a RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM.
- Unreserved RV spaces are first-come, first-served. If you are asked to move your vehicle, please cooperate. We reserve the right to tow vehicles at the patron’s/owner’s expense if necessary.
- A valid Dover International Speedway Friday, Saturday or Sunday ticket must be in your possession and presented to the RV lot attendant for entry into unreserved Lots 6 and 10.
- Only two (2) tow vehicles are permitted per RV parking space (RV Lots 6, 7 & 10). Parking sticker must be adhered at time of arrival.
- Only one (1) tow vehicle is permitted in Lot 2, Lot 8 and Lot 9. Parking sticker must be adhered at time of arrival.
- All vehicles (and items) must fit within the assigned RV spot (20’ x 40’) and not impose upon neighboring site or fire lane. Site sizes may vary.
- Keep fire lanes and roadways open at all times. Vehicles blocking fire lanes, hydrants or roadways may be towed at patron’s/owner’s expense.
- RVs are not permitted to relocate once Dover personnel have assigned a spot, or another Lot fee is required.
- If RV patrons/owners move their RV from their initially assigned space, Dover International Speedway is not responsible for holding that space.
- You are parking on Dover International Speedway property AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please lock your vehicle at all times.
- Infield RV parking is not available at Dover International Speedway.
- Quiet hours must be observed. All generators must be turned off between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. No loud or boisterous activity during quiet hours.
- Please DO NOT leave propane tanks or any type of barbeque unattended.
- Please OBSERVE ALL SIGNS. STAY OUT OF restricted areas and OBEY instructions from Dover International Speedway personnel.
- Please be extra careful at night (areas may have limited to no lighting) or in bad weather.
- Please be aware of all carbon monoxide dangers.
- Please BE RESPONSIBLE in the consumption of all alcoholic beverages.
- Please BE COURTEOUS to other guests.
- Dover International Speedway reserves the right to add or change rules without notice.
- Any decision interpreting or enforcing these policies is at the discretion of Dover International Speedway Management
NOT PERMITTED
- RV parking is not permitted in the main parking areas at Dover International Speedway including the North, South and West parking lots.
- Tent camping
- Fireworks, sky lanterns or sky candles
- Weapons of any type
- Disorderly conduct
- Roping off, blocking or saving spaces
- Ground fires or open fires. Contained fires are allowed (Lot 2 – no firewood permitted). They must be above ground in an approved container. Do not leave fires unattended and do not dump hot coals on the ground or in trash barrels.
- Please do NOT erect flags or other structures within 100 feet of any telephone or power lines.
- All-terrain vehicles, golf carts and motorized two-wheel bikes, except by authorized personnel.
- Dumping or leaching of waste from RV’s will NOT be tolerated. Offenders are subject to ejection from the lot and arrest.
- Riding in the beds of pick-up trucks.
