June 2-4 Race Weekend Activities

The FanZone, outside of Turn 4 near the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza presented by Smithfield, is free to all fans. Interactive displays will be set up, featuring games, free sampling, live music and more. Some focal points include a number of partners such as: Delaware Office of Highway Safety, Smithfield, ACME, Sea Watch International, Monster Energy, Comcast XFINITY, International Drone Racing Association (IDRA), Honda Generator, Leaffilter, Maestro’s Classic, Allan Myers, Pedigree, Power Home Remodeling Group, 5-hour Energy, Delmarva RV and New Holland.

The FanZone is open at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 2; 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 3; and 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 4.

Monster Mile Youth Nation


Free to all fans with hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 3 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 4. The area is designed for fans ages 12 and under to explore NASCAR.

Attractions include a rock climbing wall, moon bounce, obstacle course, rides, face painting and a DJ. The area was formerly known as the Monster FunZone.

NASCAR Trackside Superstore

The Fanatics Trackside Superstore is hard to miss when race fans arrive in Dover. Fans can find all their favorite NASCAR merchandise and more in this 60,000-square-foot retail space for souvenirs. Fans will have the ability to browse merchandise from virtually every driver, plus purchase online and ship for free, avoiding the hassle of carrying around larger items all day! Closes one hour after each day’s race.

International Drone Racing Association

The International Drone Racing Association will hold its USA event in the FanZone from June 2-4. The event is FREE and open to the public.

The race will feature 16 professional teams from around the world. The 2017 IDRA Drone Racing Series is a professional series of six international events. The season begins at Dover and concludes with the IDRA Finals in Amsterdam.

Sample some of Delmarva’s best treats in our food truck section near the FanZone. Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, sample some of your favorite treats from I Don’t Give a Fork, Wildwitch, The Hungry Spork, Smoke, Rattle and Roll, My Four Suns Korean Fusion Food Truck, DC Slices.

Truck Autograph Session

12:30 p.m. FREE NASCAR Camping World Truck Series AUTOGRAPH SESSION at Delaware Office of Highway Safety display in the FanZone. Will feature at least a dozen drivers from the series.

5:30 p.m. “Bar Harbor 200” presented by Sea Watch International NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.



1 p.m. NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash race.

9 p.m. Fireworks in RV lots.


After Fireworks FREE Monster Mile Movie Night, featuring “The Angry Birds Movie.”
