The Saga Continues… in Issue No. 2 of the collectible Monster comic book

The legend of Miles the Monster was told for the first time ever in Issue No. 1, His Shocking Birth. This unique, limited-edition comic book was a terrific success, and fans of all ages have been clamoring for Issue No. 2. Dover International Speedway is proud to announce that Full Throttle Fun, Issue No. 2 in the series, is available for sale this September 22-24, 2006 race weekend.
 
In Issue No. 1, the story opens and we learn about Tammy Runn, the beautiful and intelligent General Manager of the track; Tinker Brace, the track handyman and crazy inventor who is not what he seems; Boyd Kanton, the bad boy stock car racer who lies, steals and cheats in his efforts to win races; and Wammy, the gorgeous love interest of Tinker that was created from his imagination. These characters battle on and off the track right up to the moment when Miles the Monster is born from deep within the concrete confines of Dover International Speedway. Moments after Miles rises from the surface, he engages in a life and death battle with Boyd. After surviving multiple nuclear missile blasts, he defeats Boyd to the wild cheers of the fans. Good defeats evil as Miles, an eight-story concrete giant, towers over the Speedway.

In Issue No. 2, Miles is forced to deal with much more than any newborn should face. How will Miles deal with the clamor of the media to learn about him? How will he handle the efforts of those near him to exploit him? And how will he deal with his own burning desires, as he learns to become comfortable in his own concrete skin?

Issue No. 2 has it all… as Miles winds up behind the wheel of the Monster Mobile; as the star of a feature film; as he learns to cope with his new emotions, and is ultimately tricked into a series of events that risk his life.
