See below on some top drivers’ memories from Dover as they get ready to take the green flag on the 2021 campaign.

BRAD KESELOWSKI, NO. 2 FORD, TEAM PENSKE: “The first time I even got to drive a car there. I’ll never forget that. Driving the car in the corner in practice that first time, plopping down in the corner, feeling the G-forces. An incredible rush.”

CHASE BRISCOE, NO. 14 FORD, STEWART-HAAS RACING: “I love going to that place. It’s so fast. It’s up on the wheel. You have to on your game the whole time. The feeling you get dropping in the corner – it’s unlike anywhere else we go. It’s so fun to go there. It’s one of my favorite racetracks. To have the casino on the back straightaway, the grandstands all the way around … it’s just a unique place and you don’t have that environment at a lot of different tracks. At the track I enjoy it and off the race track I enjoy the area as well.”

COLE CUSTER, NO. 41 FORD, STEWART-HAAS RACING: “For me, winning in the Xfinity Series. It was a track I always wanted to win at. I was close a lot of times. To finally win there meant a ton. It’s the coolest trophy you can win with the Monster. It’s a track that every driver wants to check off their list.”

MATT DIBENEDETTO, NO. 21 FORD, WOOD BROTHERS RACING: “I broke the track record in the K&N Series. That was neat. Then I hopped in the Xfinity Series car for the first time ever at Dover – which is the most treacherous race track we go to. It was Denny Hamlin’s car to make some laps at practice and I crashed it. It sucked but it was also a good reality check to make sure you respect that race track. It is extremely difficult. That’s why they call it the Monster Mile.”

ALEX BOWMAN, NO. 48 CHEVROLET, HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS: “The last couple times we’ve gone there we’ve been really strong. In 2019 we started last and finished second – that was pretty cool. It’s just a really fun, really fast race track.”
