UPDATE: Sunday, 9:10 p.m.

Trackside Access will not be available Monday morning before the postponed “Gander RV 400” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race takes the green flag at noon. Purchasers can contact the Monster Mile Ticket Office at 800-441-RACE starting Tuesday, May 7 to learn about how their account can be credited or updated.

Because of the abbreviated morning schedule, the normal race-day FanZone entertainment and driver Q&As won’t be available.

UPDATE: Sunday, 4:13 p.m.

The “Gander RV 400” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway has been postponed until Monday, May 6 at noon due to persistent wet conditions.

All Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series tickets will be honored. Gates 3, 4, 16 and 19 will be open at 10 a.m. Parking on Dover International Speedway property will be free.

Ticket Services locations near Gates 3 and 11 will be open starting at 8 a.m. for guests looking to purchase tickets.

Suites will be open at 10 a.m.

Track drying operations are continuing, with a 4 p.m. green flag scheduled.

Driver introductions are scheduled to begin at 2:25 p.m., with a 3:15 p.m. race start.

The Monster Mile Youth Nation area is closed. Guests with the Monster Mile Youth Nation ticket package can redeem their gift at Gate 3 Ticket Services.

Today’s 12:30 p.m. Harlem Globetrotters show has been canceled.

Weather forecasts are showing that rain will stop in the Dover area around 1 p.m. today. Track drying takes approximately one hour, and the race is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. (weather permitting, of course). Any updates will be shared here as soon as possible.

NASCAR and Dover International Speedway personnel are working with our staff meteorologist and monitoring today’s weather before the “Gander RV 400” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race. The green flag is scheduled for 2 p.m. Any updates or announcements from NASCAR regarding the race will be posted on this page.

The team at the Monster Mile has been working hard to add enhanced entertainment opportunities and appearances as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration. All of our events, such as the FREE Harlem Globetrotters shows and driver appearances are currently on as scheduled. Any postponements or cancellations will be noted here.

Today’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice session has been canceled.

The next on-track activity is qualifying for the “Allied Steel Buildings 200” NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race at 10:10 a.m.

Today’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice has been delayed due to foggy/misty conditions.

The track surface is ready for racing but there are visibility concerns on the backstretch.
